At Animal Cancer Foundation, we are asked many questions regarding the best resources for pets and pet parents facing a cancer diagnosis. One of the most frequently asked questions is whether or not a clinical trial exists in a particular area or for a particular type of pet cancer. Our friends at the Veterinary Cancer Society, a group of board-certified veterinary oncologists and associated specialists assembled to promote high quality veterinary oncology,  co-sponsored with the Veterinary Cooperative Oncology Group (VCOG), a searchable clinical trials database for cancer in pet animals.

In 2016, the platform was transitioned to the American Veterinary Medical Association to expand the capabilities.

Pet parents, general practice veterinarians and other specialty vets are welcome to the use the database to search for clinical trial options.  The database is a good way for pet parents to become informed and make the right decisions for their four-legged friends.
