Clinical Trials

Contribute to the Progress of Cancer Research: Clinical Trials Explained

Clinical trials are studies that determine if a new test or treatment works and is safe. Pet parents participate in clinical trials to contribute to the progress of cancer research, to help others with the disease, or to have the possibility for their pet to receive the newest treatment available. Keep in mind that clinical trials have very stringent requirements, called protocols, that help researchers obtain accurate information. Trials may be in limited locations, require a commitment of time and travel for pet and pet parent, and may or may NOT have cost covered.
