Our sweet baby girl Heidi crossed the rainbow bridge on December 11, 2023 after a tough few months battle with cancer. We adopted her 8 years ago and just in time as she was the only kitten left at the humane society! We immediately fell in love with her! She brought us so much joy, laughter and snuggles.

We noticed Heidi started having daily coughing fits that lasted a minute or so. We took her to the vet soon after in which we found a large mass in her lungs. She underwent surgery to remove the mass and our resilient girl recovered quickly! But unfortunately she had a rare and aggressive form of cancer with a prognosis of 4-8 months. We put her on Palladia chemo pills for the next month but unfortunately her cancer came back and spread quickly through her lungs and in her bones. The last week of her life was spent giving her palliative/end of life care, giving her a last pet Christmas, plenty of tuna, and lots of snuggles. She was a fighter to the very end.

We love you and will miss you dearly Heidi. Rest easy baby girl.
