We rescued Bella at 5 1/2 months.  It was love at first sight.  She loved her toys, as she greeted each one of us with her twirls, cries of joy, and giving us one of her toys.  She was smart and loving.  Bella was 12 1/2 years when hemangiosarcoma was diagnosed on a Wednesday and we had to say goodbye that Saturday.  Our hearts are broken.
