Animal Cancer Foundation (ACF) is pleased to announce that Central Bark locations nationwide will participate in a first annual “Unleash the Cure®” Campaign to support our work funding comparative oncology research to find new treatments and eventual cures for pet and human cancer.

Beginning in November during Pet Cancer Awareness Month, customers can donate to Animal Cancer Foundation at all Central Bark locations across the country. The campaign kicked off recently with a corporate donation from Central Bark in honor of the pets and people walking to cure cancer in the Nationwide® Pet Cancer Awareness Walk 2023 hosted virtually on the Wooftrax app. Central Bark franchisees, employees, and customers will be encouraged to walk during the month of November and to be ambassadors for the cause through ongoing activities throughout the year during the Unleash the Cure® campaign.

“One-in-4 dogs, one-in-5 cats, and one-in-3 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetimes,” said Bob Crawford, CEO of Central Bark, “I would like to send a personal invitation to all of you and your four-legged family members to visit Central Bark throughout the year, and especially during the month of November, while we raise funds to help find a cure.”

“Central Bark is committed to the health and well-being of the community it serves. Every dollar raised this year will help change the lives for those people and pets fighting cancer by bringing hope of new treatments,” said Barbara Cohen, Executive Director of Animal Cancer Foundation.  “Our pets, families and supporters look forward to making a difference.”
